I'm a professional graphic designer with a passion for illustration, art history, museums and film.​ 

 

My illustrations are an exploration of color and moods of different spaces and characters, usually with a sprinkle of fantasy added.

I like to take everyday spaces and objects, like a bus stop, a train ride, a plant in a garden, a gift shop, or a zoo at night, and highlight some of their details or usual characters in different or unexpected ways - the different coats of the people at the bus stop; the colorful pattern of the train seats; the usually invisible inhabitants of a plant; the gift shop sea ornaments having a life of their own; the party night life of the zoo animals. It's keeping the childhood googles alive!

I build them with colored pencils, oil pastels and/or gouache.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
